The Prometeia® can be used with both AMD and Intel based systems with the use of the EasyMod CPU Kits. The CPU kits are designed in accordance with the EasyMod standard. The EasyMod system ensures that the Micro freezer fits a variety of motherboards for both Intel and AMD Processors. The Micro freezer and the EasyMod Kit form a hermetic capsule (when assembled to the hardware) eliminating water from moist air entering any part of the seal. Unlike other phase change solutions, the EasyMod CPU Kits does not require the use of paste or grease to help seal the socket and pins of the CPU from corrosion. The EasyMod Kit contains the components necessary to support a specific hardware configuration.
